One of our favourite patterns from Nordiska, designed in Gothenburg, Sweden, in the mid fifties.
The pattern measures 22 cm tall and 24 cm wide. The linen panels are printed on sizes from 35 x 35 cm or larger, with some measuring 40 x 45 cm.
Threads are not included, we keep this listing simple so that you can choose your own colours. We recommend either using your stash or any of the five skein linen hanks HERE .
A Nordiska stitch card is included together with an A6 print of the tulip pattern from the archive. The pattern shows how it was embroidered with wool thread in chain stitch, couching stitch and French knots. With linen thread you can explore any of the 24 stitches on the card we include, using your own preferred colours and make the sampler into a wall picture, small cushion front or an oversized pocket for a tote bag or a skirt.
