Here is our latest Nordiska find: a vibrant and fun Peacock pattern from the early 1960s.
This is a limited series with 1960s linen in lustrous teal, green, white and gold threads in colours Nordiska added to their kits.
Included in the kit:
A hand printed linen panel, 50 x 50 cm
The design measures 33 cm wide
3 x 20 meter skeins of our most beautiful yarn, Knox's linen thread skeins from the 60s
3 x Hemstitch linen skeins, stranded.
5 x 14 meter contemporary linen skeins, as pictured.
The kit includes a copy of the original drawing from the archive and a photograph of the finished Peacock embroidery. Please note that the embroidered piece pictured here is a vintage piece: our green fabric is darker.
The kit also includes our usual stitch card or poster and a chenille needle.
We print this design on two colours: deep green and Favourite Linen.
