Our wonderful Tulip Wreath 8081 (Tulpankrans) from Nordiska,
here in the original 1960s colours.

The Tulip pattern measures circa 27.5 x 26 cm
10 colours of linen thread: both vintage and contemporary linen threads in two weights.
The original Tulip Wreath had 9 colours instructed:
we add a little acid yellow/green for yellow colour nr 3.
An archive poster in A4 with a stitch card on the reverse
A card with a brief history of the pattern origins.
Lots of fun stitches are noted for this pattern:
Satin stitch, stem stitch, split stitch, lazy daisy, y stitch, couching stitch, twisted chain stitch, long and short stitch, cross stitch and French knots.
The poster is a two part facsimile of the 1960’s instructional sheet, with a detailed drawing showing the colours and stitches used in the 60’s.
