The 1960s design measures 18 x 18 cm and is hand printed on a linen panel of 37.5 x 40 cm. Two colours of linen thread, a needle, stitch card and a copy of the instructional drawing from Nordiska's archive are included.
There two sets to choose from: Brights and Traditional. Please send a note with your order if you like the sparkly green and red, or the the darker green and red in your kit.
The stitches are very simple: chain stitch, French knots and satin stitch.
The original design was for a small table cloth, perhaps with a candle holder in the centre. We are currently embroidering a sample to become a part of a quilt, with red initials in the centre of the hearts.
