Designed in the late 1950's by Nordiska's Birgitta Salenius, the only embroidered piece we have ever found was in Sweden, a framed picture with the hand written note: "Till mamma, julen 1960" / "To mother, Christmas 1960".
Our linen is hand printed in Sweden on a 50 x 50 cm panel.
A full linen thread set, a chenille needle and a copy of the archive instructional drawing is included.
we also add a stitch card which describes the 24 common stitches used by Nordiska. Use this to select the stitches drawn in the archive Floralina.
This embroidery kit requires improvising with lots of interesting stitches, so best suited an adventurous beginner or an experienced embroiderer.
