Early to mid 1960s. The listing pictures the 1960s original table runner folded and the two kits: one green (smaller)
one our regular linen.
Embroider with stem-, chain-, and couching stitch, lazy daisy and French knots
The design measures 21 cm wide by 15 cm tall
Fabric size GREEN: 40 cm wide by 24 cm tall. The sides are lined.

Originally a table runner with tulips printed on both ends,
We love the colours, sweet and joyful flowers, and way the stranded hemstitch linen interacts with the regular thread.
In the 60s kit, hemstitch was used for one pink and one orange.
Due to the scarcity of this thread, we can’t add those colours but we can (and will!) include one green skein of 1960s hemstitch linen for the dark green stem. If you prefer to have regular linen thread instead, just leave a note with your order and we’ll pack regular linen.
