Hundkex / Cow Parsley 6069 was sold as a cushion kit in the 1960s, described as "enjoyable handcraft in waiting for Spring" in the old embroidery catalogues.
The linen panel measures 50 x 50 cm
the design measures 32 cm wide, 29cm tall.
This kit includes genuine 60s linen threads:
5 x skeins of hemstitch linen,
the gorgeous 1960s linen embroidery thread called "hålsömsgarn" in the same colours as the 60s. This thread is stranded and creates a different texture which makes the embroidery look even more gorgeous!
3 x 14 meter orange and yellow lustrous lace linen
8 x 14 meter contemporary linen skeins.
1960s smooth and strong linen lace yarn is used for delicate stitches of the cow parsley.
Included is also a copy of the original drawing from the archive, a photograph of the finished embroidery, three chenille needles and a stitch card or poster.
