Beautiful genuine vintage wall hanging (or in Swedish, “bonad”), printed by hand in Nordiska's own Gothenburg studio in the late 1950's or early 1960's. The red parts are applique, a highly unusual detail for a textile from Nordiska.
The linen/cotton cloth is of a quality we don't see often anymore, made to last for generations. We think this is a local weave by Almedahls - Dalsjöfors.
We have a series of only two wall hangings, so this is a rare chance to find true vintage Nordiska to embroider for your home, or give to someone who will appreciate a unique gift from 50's/60's Sweden.
