Beautiful genuine vintage linen runner, printed by hand in Nordiska's own Gothenburg studio in the late 1950's or early 1960's. Looking at the little cat, we are quite sure this is a drawing by artist Greta Säfve.
The linen is of a quality we don't see often anymore, a very lustrous, smooth and dense cloth, made to last for generations. We think this is a local weave by Almedahls - Dalsjöfors.
We have a series of only three runners, so this is a rare chance to find true vintage Nordiska to embroider for your home, or give to someone who will appreciate a unique gift from 50's/60's Sweden.
