10 skeins are our contemporary linen, 2 skeins are genuine 60s vintage.
The Neon set, a chenille needle and a postcard from the Nordiska Archive comes folded in delicate tissue paper in a sturdy paper box. The box is wrapped with tissue paper and cotton bias, ready to give as a gift.

These threads are spun from the finest long flax fibres grown and dyed here in the west of Europe.
Neon Flax Flower Box is our longest running shop favourite, a collection of threads which we started in 2015.
Back then the set consisted of vintage 60s Linblomman (The Flax Flower) linen from the heart of Sweden's textile industrial area. When the factory closed down, the remaining yarn was hidden away in a haberdashery stockroom for decades.
We researched the yarn, unfolded the story, gave life to the old colour charts once more. Today we make the flax flower box collection in our studio in old town Bristol.
An old Scandinavian proverb tells "Ull blir mull och lin blir gull" (Wool becomes dust, flax becomes gold" and we have found the latter to be true: linen stays beautiful and strong: you can stitch with it now or save it for 50 years.
