Vintage and contemporary linen embroidery thread and mid century/antique silk from Gutermann, Donegal tweed, three chenille needles and colour inspiration in a contemporary paper box.
In this box you will fine a mix of rare lace weight linen thread and hemstitch linen (4-stranded), both Nordiska and Linblomman, and regular weight embroidery linen, all as new stock from the 60s, as well as contemporary Lyster 1 and 2. In total there are 12 skeins, three are vintage.
This is a series of 3 boxes, all vary slightly from each other but contain the same colour co-ordination. The paper cuts are from 1960's embroidery patterns, the tweed cuts are scraps from a mill in Northern Ireland. The Gutermann silk spools come in slightly different shades, all matching the linen threads pictured. The long labelled skein is a beautiful pure silk from the 1960's.
