Linen:
1 x Nordiska 1960's linen hemstitch thread
1 x Linblomman 1960's linen hemstitch thread
Both these are stranded, loosely spun fine threads to use for embroidery.
10 meter if used as they are, or 40m fully stranded.
1 x contemporary linen thread, 14 m
1 x vintage strong and fine linen on card, 20m. Good for leather repairs or for stitching anything that needs to hold for a long time.
1 x antique thread card noted Société Anonyme Filature & Filteries Reunies ALOST (Belgique) with a beautiful linen thread.
In each box we will also add a complimentary skein of the finest linen embrodiery thread, 30m (not pictured here, see Fine Linen Thread collection).
Silk:
1 x vintage Gutermann silk, 50m
2 x antique buttonhole silk from Zwicky. This thread is very strong and good to use for decades to come. We have added one black and one dark brown in this box.
The spools came from an old Danish haberdashery, the boxes were named Siegfried Hass, Forchhammersvej 25.
Wool:
1 x circa 70 strands of beautiful wool from Sweden, for darning or embrodiery.
Needles and tools:
1 x Mid century thimble
1 x Needle threader
3 x wooden cases for needles: 1 dozen easy thread needles, 8 assorted size chenille needles, 10 long darners.
1 x Wide Bow Scissors, tougher than old boots and supremely sharp and black.
Small and precise scissors in a deep, permanent black steel. 4″ or 10cm.
1 x Fine Linen panel, our best linen. 50 x 50 cm
1 x notecard with envelope.
