Nordiska 7322 was designed in Sweden in the late 1950s and launched in the Nordiska flagship store for their fans to embroider around 1961.
The image cover in this listing shows the vintage Tablet 7322 that we recently found in colours chosen by the artist: soft mustard, pale blue, yellows, greys and greens.
For our contemporary version we printed this simple and stylish design on a larger piece of linen fabric to allow for either a tablet as it was intended, a wall picture or a cushion: 50 x 50 cm.
The design itself measures 23 x 23 cm just like the original.
The colours we have today are different than what was available 60 years ago so we selected Golden Mustard, Slate, Woodland Brown, Natural and Pale Woad.
Included in this kit is the hand printed panel, nine colours of linen thread (there were seven in the original), a chenille needle and a stitch card together with a copy of the original drawing (A4).
