A very fine, strong, two stranded worsted wool, meaning it's spun of the longest fibres. It is used on wool, felt and linen, band weaving, tassels and braids well as delicate embroidery (use one strand). For fuller embroidery use two or more strands.
Chenille 18, 20 and 22 are good needles for this thread.
Each colour here weighs circa 5 gram, and contains circa 50 strands, 70 cm long.
